Technical reporting is designed to provide a means of quickly assessing the operational and financial impact of a drill plan.
The technical report uses a scorecard layout to combine the key performance indicators for a drill plan. The use of a single page report provides a means of quickly comparing multiple options.
Because all drill plans generated with DRX meet the initial drilling design constraints more time can be spent on reviewing the expected results and trade-offs of different plans instead of focusing on the geometric placement of holes.
Aside from basic drilling lineage or budget operational parameters are reported to verify operational validity such as holes per station, hole lengths, angles to faults or contacts and expected time required to drill a program.
Based on the studies already completed with DRX, the impact of seemingly minor changes to the drill plan layout can have a significant impact on costs, schedule and coverage/sampling.
